CEBU, Philippines — Priland Development Corporation, a real estate developer in Cebu, launched its first resort residences project called Vertex Coast at Punta Engaño in Mactan Island.
In a press conference yesterday, Priland president Ramon Carlo Yap announced the start of construction of the 700-unit two-tower development that will not only offer resort residential units, but also small-office-home-office (SOHO) condominiums.
So far, Vertex Coast will be the first development along the Punta Engaño stretch to provide a SOHO option for condominium dwellers and buyers.
Yap said that the project is set to compete in 2024 complementing the rise of activities within the area, such as the upcoming opening of a Casino resort, an integrated and commercial enclave, among others.
Over a hundred units (with 54 units each tower) will be built and designed for SOHO market, that primarily caters to small travel agencies, start-up companies, online firms, among others.
“We see the strong demand for SOHO backlog of small office spaces,” Yap said.
The project is situated near Movenpick Resort and the Ayala Land Inc. and Taft Properties Inc., integrated project called Mactan Seagrove.
According to Priland chief operating officer Marcelino Relampagos, the project will have environment friendly and sophisticated amenities and facilities offering dwellers with five-star residential experience. Cebuano-owned Priland Development Corporation is part of well-established and diversified group of companies that have made its name and excelled in the last 20 years.
